SirPatrickStewart
My question - Is it possible to remove the browser pop-up that says "Open NXM Link Proxy?" every time you're installing mods using a mod manager? It's a little annoying so removing it would be nice. Picture if you're not sure what I mean:

SirPatrickStewart
What browser are you using? Do you have this set? Chrome I'm guessing now it's my mod manager that doesn't support this? I am using Mod Organizer 2 instead of Vortex.

I'm guessing not, I had no idea what Mod Manager you were using.Unless there's a setting somewhere in the MO2 settings that associates MO2 with NXM links

I clicked it and restarted Chrome + MO2 but no dice. =/

I was redirected from another forum to /r/skyrimmods and the top comment resolved the issue. https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/dasx9e/pop_up_asks_to_open_nxm_link_proxy/ Edit - Resolution if you need it here: Create a new text file called `enable_nxm.reg` (be sure that it is NOT enable_nxm.reg.txt). Edit the file with Notepad or other text editor of choice. Copy the text below and paste into the editor. Save and exit the file. Double click the file and then click Yes on the warning. Restart Chrome and you should not see the pop up again. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome\URLWhitelist]"1"="nxm://*"
