cylvermane
Here is what I have done: -Installed Battletech: Heavy Metal. All DLCs included.-Patched to 1.81-Installed the 3062 core-Installed the CAB -Added the DLC specific flashpoints from the same 3062 file page https://www.nexusmods.com/battletech/mods/452-Started the game and turned on every mod including modtek 7.7.2-Restarted the game and ATTEMPTED to start a new career... The game STARTS and that's it. What do I mean by this? The menu opens up, skips the intro as it should, and I'm able to select the options to start a new career. That's it. I TRY to start and all I get is a spinning loading circle in the upper left-hand corner. Please feel free to tell me where I've gone wrong or what I need to do to get this to work. As it stands I have two options: a game that doesn't work or a game that's too easy with the current AI. Dragon32
Are you sure you're running 1.8.1 and not 1.9?
cylvermane
Are you sure you're running 1.8.1 and not 1.9?I've literally tried both just to see. I know the documentation specifies 1.8.1, and I tried that, but thought to try 1.9 as well.
cylvermane
Am I missing some step or something to make this work correctly?
Dragon32
Probably best to ask on the "3062 core" mod page.
CinderBlack
There is a small chance its ModTek. I may be wrong but ModTek was supposed to be an external Mod injector before the game itself started having its own built in Mod Support. This may be causing a conflict withen the game by having Modtek as a mod and active. I know, right? Modtek, last I knew, was supposed to be something of an integrated thing and no longer necessary to run the mods. That being said, I've tried both with an without.
