Taurus Raging Bull Model 500, .500 S&W Magnum Revolver

Hi there,

 

Even though I dislike weapons irl, I have some virtual favourites, one being the .50 Caliber Revolver.

 

So my request is this handgun here:

Would be cool if someone finds the time to model that one for me (one version with scope, one w/o).

Maybe 2 different textures would be great, one like the original above and one with the gun parts being black and the handle being white^^. Also, the name "Taurus Raging Bull" looks annoying, please leave that out, thanks^^.

well, i do believe thats what he meant.

 

they use .500S&W and i doubt it is interchangeable with .50AE. could be wrong.

If the wiki is to be believed, the model 500 Raging Bull can only fire two types of cartridges: .500 S&W Magnum caliber, can also fire the shorter .500 S&W Special.

I'm making my usual irritating gabber about trying to make the weapon interchangeable with an ammo that already exists as to spare the players the headache of too many ammos and not enough different weapons to fire them out of. Even if it means stretching the realism a little.

 

You know the drill.

I totally see Beano's point as well. Despite my obsessive attention to details like this, there is a very real threshold where gameplay is more important and this would be one of those cases, IMHO.

 

Though I honestly don't think there's a niche for a .500 smith revolver. We've already got the .50 DE mod by Vash (Thank You!!!) and the game came vanilla with the Scoped .44 & Blackhawk, so going one notch higher on the revolver side would be much a lower priority compared to adding a much-needed wider selection of rifles & SMG's.

 

Oh, and for the record, the .50 AE is in no way shape or form cross-compatible with the .500 S&W or .500 S&W special. ;)

The OP could possibly be anti-gun. I am a big time pro-gun person myself but I think we're getting sidetracked here.

I have reasons to believe what I believe and the OP probably does too. No need to turn this into a political debate.

Personally, I don't see what extra ammo to deal with and "we already have a .50 cal thanks to Vash, so we don't need another." has to do with the request. They're valid, however, they're also unnecessary because it's only going to affect your game if you choose to download it and activate the esp. So what is the point of trying to shoot down the OP's request?
