Trying to learn to mod [Skyrim SE] Need help.

Trying to figure out how to make a custom house inside of Skyrim that will eventually be purchasable like in Hearthfire.

 

Currently running into the issue of getting the house to be available in the game itself. Made a very basic house just to test going in and out of, but when I load the game I cannot see the house.

 

I've placed the house inside of Riverwood, just along the trail before the "entrance." I've checked Vortex and Loot, and the .esp is enabled on both.

 

I was hoping someone would be willing to spend a little time talking to me and going through the process.

I apologize, I'm not use to the forums here and didn't see anything regarding games directly at first glance. I managed to find the Skyrim section, though. Sorry for clutter :sad:
