RABIDRED
ok so i had Skyrim and vortex on C: drive but there was no more space to download mods so i decided to move everything to D: (data) drive, mods included (using the vortex manager). Problem here is now all the mods are gone and Vortex does not recognize Skyrim as in the same drive. it says Skyrim is still on C: and that installing mods on the same drive would fix it. BUT IT'S NOT. SKYRIM IS ON D: i thought moving everything wuld have been the simplest choice and i'm not so familiar with PCs.... please help. Hopefully you did it the correct way from inside Vortex, using these two settings screens, otherwise, if you Moved the Directories using Windows Explorer, then you've messed up your install, and possibly, you can move the directories BACK to where they were and move them properly using Vortex. What you need to do, because you changed the path of SKyrim SE using WIndows, so now Vortex has no idea where you put it, is you need to tell Vortex where you put it. All you had to do was click on GAMES---->then click on the PLUS SIGN + in the Skyrim SE Thumbnail in the MANAGED Section, and pick MANUALLY SET LOCATION, then browse to the Skyrim SE folder, and you're done. You didn't have to uninstall and reinstall So STEAM isn't complaining about not finding the game either?
