ginnyfizz
I cannot access either the sites or the forums via Firefox or Chrome AT ALL. This is despite going through the usual clearing the cache and CTRL+F5 and restarting the browsers.I can only access with IE and that is limited - I cannot access my private messages via the drop down at the top of the forums, at the side of my name, but I can access them via IE from the Skyrim Nexus "Front page".Any idea what in Nirn is going on here? wardminator
Unable to complete downloads either manually or with NMM. The downloads won't complete. Also, bandwidth is not good. DL speed is less than half of what I normally see when downloading a file. That, of course, is only after I do manage to get onto the site. Page loading has been spotty too. Anyone have any clue as to what's up with the Nexus?
Rabbit1251
Today the Nexus was under the attack of a disgruntled former member. He apparently hired a hacker to disrupt the site's operations. It could well be that that is the cause of the troubles. Dark0ne is on it. Rabbit

ginnyfizz
It seems a bit sporadic but I am going to have to go back to using Chrome for this site methinks.
DrakeTheDragon
It's working pretty fine and stable with an old Firefox 5 on my end, too... though the constant nag screen, to finally upgrade for Christ's sake, is slowly getting on my nerves after the upteenth new version release.I'm starting to wonder, is it something with latest-state browsers that is causing all these issues? mechatech
I'm running the latest version of Firefox with AdBlock Plus and NoScript. I don't use NMM. I have no problems accessing the forums, the nexus or downloading files. Occasionally over the past few days I've encountered a couple of SQL errors and 504 bad gateway but not complete site denial. It could be a local problem in your region or something configured wrong on your computer.

I think you are probably right, I never had any issues with older versions of Firefox, the latest ones however are a different story. Lord, I know that with the latest Snoopers Bill about to go before Parliament, the UK is about to become a police state, but the Bill hasn't gone through just yet and so I doubt it is a Big Brother watching me issue, although I had a few probs during the tenure of the last Labour Government...As to my computer configuration, I have Nexus on my allowed list so to speak with everything...
