2 hours for 300 megs?

I am not premium and I have been using the site since way before vortex and premium was a thing. It was so so much better before premium. Just started playing fallout 4 again and trying to re-download AWKW's is a nightmare! Two and a half hours to D/L 300 megs. What a joke this site has become. At some point you should just toss in the towel and dump the site altogether since it is obviously been in steady decline since the garbage premium model. NMM was by far a superior manager as Vortex itself causes 90% of the problem with mods. Honestly before premium this site had such a huge following it was all over social media as the place to go for all gaming mods. Now it is fading into obscurity because of mismanagement and a screw you attitude.

What do you mean "before premium"? As far as I am aware, the Nexus has always had premium memberships available. Certainly it had them when I joined in 2012, and they had been there for quite a while it seemed. If anything, download speeds were doubled for non-premium members as long as you don't have adblock on.

 

It definitely shouldn't take 2 hours to download a 300mb file though. There is likely some issue with your connection somewhere between you and the Nexus' server. You can be sure though that it's not the Nexus limiting you.
