Bluegemcutter
I frequently have a problem of my items, weapons and armors, popping out of the display cases. I wanted to ask if a mod could be created so that when items are placed in Display Cases the cases could be re-locked. I have searched to try to find if such a mod exists but I have not found one. Hickory
Yeah, that damned Havoc is a royal pain, and it doesn't help that the display cases are so darned shallow. I don't know of any mods, but you can re-lock the cabinets with the console. Highlight the cabinet and in the console type: lock <lock level (optional) 0 - 100> eg: lock 100 <---- *requires a key* lock 50 lock You may also use unlock. Bluegemcutter
But what if you use a PC like I do? I am not sure how I would highlight a display case. For the PC you can use the tilde symbol, the little wavy symbol next to the number 1 key, on the keyboard which allows for other commands to be used. I use it for resurrect commands to bring dead NPCs to life. Maybe there is a tilde command that will allow me to re-lock a display case. Also, can any key be used such as a lockpick? Where would you get a key in the game to re-lock a display case? Edited December 17, 2012 by Bluegemcutter
Striker879
That's what Hickory's suggestion was using ... when you hit the tilde (~) key you open the console. After you get the console open click on the display case with the mouse and then enter the commands. Hickory
Yes, 'console' means the developer console inside the game, NOT a games console. :whistling:
Bluegemcutter
Yeah it works great. Thanks for the help. When you said console my mind immediately thought of the Xbox or the PS3. Occasionally, people post codes for those so that is what you meant.
