Is there any way to fix the 2gb limit with the mods freezing the game when nearing up to 1900 in the task menu ? Everytime i CTRL ALT DEL when my game freezes i see the ram usage of it above 1,900 My system specs are 4gb ram64-Bit windows 7GeForce GTS2502.4 ghz Quad core So basically what i would like to know is is there any way to fix this bothersome thing, because im having constant freeze ups near whiterun meadery for example. I dont have warzones civil unrest mod cause i heard it is extremely unstable and a ram eater I tried to edit the skyrim exe to pass the 2gb limit but it was already done by default and the newest patch by bethesda as far as i know disabled the rly helpful mods which alter the exe to use up to 4gb instead of 2gb Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
stars2heaven Posted December 17, 2012 Share Posted December 17, 2012 Don't try to edit the exe, it already uses up to 4 gb. Those mods are out dated and existed before the 4gb patch. I think your problem is your system. You are running the bare minimum and adding mods to it is asking for crashes. In fact, your graphics card is below the recommended specs. My best suggestion for you is to set your settings as low as you can and to try to find mods that enhance performance by reducing polygon count on common objects. Also, try to turn off as many background programs as you can to free up as much RAM as possible for the game. Edit: Woops, those are the RECOMMENDED requirements and not the MINIMUM requirements. My bad. Still, don't edit the exe. You might still be overtaxing your system, I don't know. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It made a significant impact on my game, though my impression of it is that you will get better results with a better system. Anyways, I have a GTX 570 and I sometimes get crashes and freezes when I put in too many graphical enhancements. I recently had to scale back on some settings in my ini and now I'm ok. I can imagine that your card would run into problems a lot faster. I'd just suggest trying to scale back on whatever you can do without, graphically. Jason2112,i understand that you want your mod to be the most helpful soft on nexus, but it's what it is, Gamebooster will , stop un-necessary process, free up memory, well, it set a "gaming profile" on game launch and make Skyrim or others run with high priority with all power available, like ..your's :)on what i've read on your description page few days ago, you can also shutdown the intro video and W.Explorer which is a "plus" but except this, if you use gamebooster with Attk they will do exactly the same no?i'm not using the both, i don't need it.@@ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
