Vortex extracted and unextracted mods folders question?

So im trying to free up some space on my computer, and when i went to C:\Users\*Username*\AppData\Roaming\Vortex, because i have about 70GB in mods, but when i went there, there are game mod folders with already extracted mods, then in the downloads folder, there are unextracted mods. I'm wondering if i can delete the already extracted mod folders without it messing up the mods list in vortex.

Deleting the MOD STAGING folder, (The folder with the Extracted Mods), is the WORST thing you can do, because THAT is the folder where the INSTALLED mods are.
