Crash on Startup

In last few months i updated some mods,installed new,installed all patches and got 2 DLC.Last time when i played Skyrim (over a five months ago) it was fine.Today when i tried to play i had CTD after Bethesda logo,just before main menu.No errors.I tried to delete old Skyrim.ini in Save game folder.I tried sound fix.Changed video settings.I tried to find answer in google but no solutions.

 

I am using BOSS.Tried to disable mods one by one.Also tried to disable Hearthfire and Dawnguard.

 

 

Problem solved.

You might have an old SKSE install. You'll definitely want to update that if you have it, and make sure in particular that the Scripts files are updated.

I do not use SKSE.

Push comes to shove, you can just move all the folders out of Data except for Interface, Strings and Video. Then, if it doesn't work, you might need to reinstall.

Sadly,but none of what people here suggested worked.I found what caused this problem and fixed it.You can read my new thread :happy:

I noticed that there are two mods assigned as .ESMs; I'm reminded of a similar problem in which an old version of Cube Transmutation causes a premature CTD when using the Unofficial patches.

 

Also, possibly some mods in need of TES5edit cleaning.
