Crash on startup with SKSE (Skyrim SE)

Hello, since the last update for Skyrim SE on Steam my modded Skyrim was completely broken, so I don't tuched Skyrim for a long time. Since yesterday I started to reinstall Skyrim and the mods. The problem at the moment is SKSE (newest version) crashing on startup, the command-wondow opens than comes a black screen, but I don't even get the Bethesda logo. I'm using Vortex, LOOT, SSEEdit, Mator Smash and FNIS. Loot says no warnings, no errors, no bad plugins. But I can't figure out what solves this problem.

I won't install (or deinstall unless someone knows a problematic mod in this list) any mods until this problem is fixed, so the list won't change.

Hope anyone can help me please, I really want to play this game again. xD

Have you updated to the newest SKSE64, and updated the mods that depend on SKSE64?

I reinstalled Skyrim SE and downloaded the newest SKSE version (1.5.97) for Skyrim SE (2.0.17) and I downloaded and installed all the mods completly new. I don't know if mods that weren't updated since this patch (of Skyrim SE 2.0.17) are incompatible with this version and new version of SKSE.

It usually takes anywhere from a day to a week for SKSE64 dependent mods to be updated for the newest version of SKSE64

You'll have to check the mod pages of all of the SKSE64 mods to see if they've been updated

 

Also, you might want to download and install AUto Exe Backup for Skyrim by cdante, so when Skyrim updates again, your old skyrim exe will be automatically backed up in a folder, so you can use the old exe with your old mods until the SKSE64 mods are updated

So I better get Skyrim patched to an older version and install the already installed mods again...? But if a mod is made for the newest version for SKSE and Skyrim SE does the mod work on older version (or should I try and error)? xD

And can I keep already downloaded mods, deinstall it from the actual Skyrim version and install it to the older version (using Vortex, etc.)?

 

EDIT:

I think this is obsolete now. Found this on the original SKSE site: "Having crashes on startup after a game patch? Remove the files from Data/SKSE/Plugins and try again. Mods using plugins probably need to be updated" and it helped. Just took the mods out of the folder started Skyrim with SKSE and put the files back in the folder, now it runs without crashing. Yeah!

Okay didn't worked for long... Need to patch Skyrim a version back. And I'm going to try "AUto Exe Backup for Skyrim", thanks for the tip!
