Mount and Blade Bannerlord Steam API Issue when launching through Vortex

Recently my Vortex outright broke or i broke it somehow even tough i havent installed any mods lately. The issue is when i start Bannerlord trough Vortex i get a white screen saying "Unable to initialize Steam API". I tried to fix this myself and i noticed on the "load order" section it says i need to start Steam before i start Vortex wich i do everytime still doesent work.

 

I uninstalled both Bannerlord and Vortex + i tried to find all files that the Vortex uninstaller leaves just to try to purge everything and start from scratch. Im still getting the same issue and im running out of ideas except a full purge aka format my computer to fix this issue.

 

If anyone has any idea what might be wrong id appriciate it alot.

There's no need to do a format.

Te problem with bannerlord at the moment is that EVERYTHING is changing on an almost daily basis.

Bannerlord is in early access, Vortex is currently going through a number of changes, and the Extension to support Bannerlord for Vortex needs to be changed every time the other two things change, so it's in a nebulous state right now.

Formatting your entire drive for a small problem is super overkill
