Baphomet
Crashes To Desktop (CTD's) are common in Morrowind, due in large part to a less-than-stable-under-all-condtions graphics engine. For help go here: http://www.tweaktown.com/document.php?dTyp...e=guide&dId=316 You might also want to try using the "Morrowind Optimizer" - now at version 1.9, I believe - available for download from this site. Good luck! Some other things that might help, as they did for me: Under your Options menu turn OFF "Full Time Shadows"If your Morrowind has defaulted to "Software Mode" for audio, as mine did, and you're running a decent sound card, switch over to "Hardware Accelerated" sound.Drop the resolution down a notch if you don't mind the way the game will look. I can't stand playing MW at 600x800, but every step up in resolution puts SIGNIFICANT additional pressure on your video card. Besides, I can't really tell a difference between the next two higher resolution notches anyway (the res specs I can't recall exactly but I play at 1150x950 or something like that). Baphomet
I COULD post about how *I* don't like posts that don't use proper grammer, punctuation, spelling and/or use "cyber-speak"... especially since the forums are FOR people who are asking for help when having problems... But I won't. :P
