Berzus
I'm definitely not the most knowledgeable person on this topic, but I'm fairly sure it depends on the game: for Fallout 3, New Vegas, Skyrim and so on Vortex uses an integrated version of LOOT to sort your mods, and it recently got systems in place to automatically or manually sort mods for Bannerlord and The Witcher 3(for example), while Monster Hunter World doesn't seem to have this kind of feature. I think Vortex should be capable of detecting file conflicts between mods for all games(correct me if I'm wrong).
HadToRegister
Basic ally asking if Vortex puts the mods in the bst order for you automatically to prevent conflicts Vortex uses LOOT. for the plugins, occasionally for certain mods you may have to manually assign them to something like the DYNAMIC PATCHES group in order to get them to be at the bottom of your load order, but Vortex will and will notify you of Conflicts with the MOD part of the MOD, such as Textures and/or meshes, and you can choose how to resolve the conflict using LOAD BEFORE, or LOAD AFTER. If you want Mod B's textures and meshes to overwrite Mod A's textures and Meshes, you would choose "Mod B LOAD AFTER Mod A", if you wanted Mod A to Overwrite Mod B instead, you'd pick "Mod A LOAD AFTER MOD B" IF Vortex doesn't complain about anything, then assume everything is "OK", and play the game.
