zachslime
As the title suggests, I am looking for a way to add mods that I have downloaded manually, prior to installing Vortex, into my Vortex mod list so that it can track them for me for the purposes of updating, etc. I'm modding Bannerlord, and since the game is constantly getting new stable branches/betas, there are new versions of the mods I have installed on an almost weekly basis, which makes it a nightmare to keep them all up to date when a new mod comes out that requires the beta/latest stable branch, so I'm really hoping there is a way to do this so I don't have to re-download the 20-30 mods I already have installed. Anyhow, I look forward to your responses, and thank you for taking the time to read my inquiry! :)

zachslime
Thank you for the quick reply, and for the information! I wonder though, will I have to remove the manually installed mods from the game's Module folder before I start this process with Vortex? I'm thinking that having duplicate mod files might cause some... complications. If so, what course of action would you suggest? I'm running the game through Steam, so perhaps I can just delete the files from the Modules folder, and then verify the game's file integrity through Steam to return it to a vanilla state, then add the mod archives to Vortex? Do you see any problems with this method? Thanks again.

Vortex, nor any other mod manager, will 'take over' and manage your manually installed mods. So, you can either remove your manually installed mods, and install them with Vortex and move on from there.Or completely start over like you suggested. Thanks for the information.
