"Mod was designed for a different patch version" error in Frosty

I get this message even though I never installed any mods in my game and I have the latest patch, patch 11, after doing some googling I found that I need to edit the MFT file and increase the patch name by 1, which I did, but the error persists and I still can't add any mods to my game. At this point I don't know what else I can do. Any help please?

Just hit okay and apply the mod. It should still work.

No, no sign of those mods after I apply them to my game.

Did you make sure that you're launching from frosty, not origin? And if you've used dai mod manager in past, did you delete the Patch_ModManagerMerge folder?

I didn't know I had to launch the game from Frosty, when I did the mods were there! thank you!

I get the same message even though I launch from Frosty Mod Manager the game does not load all the mods with the yellow exclamation mark

I only had one mod that refused to work with that message. No big deal.

I think the problem is with the mod itself
