Vortex Help - Running DAO through launcher

I'm new to Vortex but seem to like it. I haven't ran any games with mods for years, since my Skyrim heydays. I installed a few mods, deployed them just fine, and Vortex tells me there are no conflicts.

However when I try to run Dragon Age: Origins through Vortex I get an error notification, "Failed to start game through launcher", and ran the usual Steam loadup.

Now, some of the mods seem to be working when I ran a new game: character creator no longer automatically assigned skills and talents by default and the armor seemed different (although it has been awhile since I've played DAO). However, some mods clearly weren't working - there were no other hairstyles that two of my mods should have given me, for instance. I'm not exactly sure how to go about fixing this since it seems like everything is hunky dory until I try to boot it up.

I found an old thread that recommended ensuring that Steam and DAO and Vortex are all on the same drive, and I moved them all over to the same one and still encountered the same issue.

Any help?

The only thing from Vortex that needs to be on the same drive as the Game is the Vortex Mod Staging Folder
