Skyrim SE mods wont work via vortex

NexusModule

Recommended Posts

So, I am using vortex for skyrim SE Variety of mods. All are for version SE i am sure at this point. could be wrong i guess but i dont think i am.

Attached is the loadorder file per the appdata path.

Problem i have is this.

The mods wont activate when launching via skse64. If i go to hit new game nothing happens. its like a base game unmodded at all.

now if i go into mods in the game menu and turn them on that way it crashes when reloading as it has to reload due to the load order or w.e it says but then the game wont launch at all from that point if it ever does then it makes it to the Bethesda logo screen and crashes.

any idea whats going on here by chance? What did i do wrong?

I believe i have the latest version of vortex as well.

any help is appreciated. If you need more information let me know where to get it and ill gladly get it to you.

thanks,

Did you install SKSE64 properly?

SKSE install
[ Installation ]
1. Copy the .dll and .exe files to your Skyrim SE directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder under Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\. If you see files named SkyrimSE and SkyrimSELauncher, this is the correct folder. Do not copy these files to the Data folder as with a normal mod. The "src" folder is only useful for programmers, most users can ignore it.
2. Copy the .pex files in Data\Scripts\ into the Data\Scripts\ folder of your installation. The .pex files are needed by all users of SKSE.

Did you

1. Install

2. Enable

3 DEPLOY

all your mods?

Hello,

Yes it is installed properly.

I have installed

then enabled and then deployed them all. I have been messing with files disabling them but still no luck it wont even launch

attached is the most recent set active, i can also send screenshots and such if needed. I am not sure what isnt working and causing the crash honestly.

For SKSE64 i have simply exxtracted the file and then went in and copied its files directly into the game folder. D:\Games\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition

vortex should be installed properly as well and with where it places files.

Is your mod staging folder on the same drive as Skyrim SE is?

Check the MOD tab under settings and make sure HARDLINK DEPLOYMENT is set

Vortex-Staging-Folder.jpg

Yes both are correct. Hardlink is set and my post above says where skyrim is. Vortex and its files and staging folder are also on the D: drive just outside of games. it is D:\Vortex Mods\skyrimse per vortex.

on a side note im sure its a mod causing the issue.

After having purged them in vortex then verifying my files of course and doing the initial bootup for skyrim at that point i then launched it via vortex (initial bootup again for fnis said it needed me to after having verified files)

It launched right into the main menu no problem. When i then deployed my files. well same result no launch at all.

Ima go through any mods im unsure of this morning and ill let you know. weird part is though is that these mods i would think i have now SHOULD work fine. All of them are SSE version of mods. unless I suppose something wasn't converted right.

another issue i seem to have is now that im trying to test mods the base skyrim SE game wont launch anymore ether even if i go through steam to do it.

Hmm ok I will ignore their site as well then, Well the culprit seemed to be the S.L.U.T.S mod anyways so. I have it running now. A few hiccups but i think i can work them out.

only real issue i see is when a npc demands sex if i comply they just walk on no animation plays. i think i simply need to reinstall the animations though.
