Universalistic
I am on the latest version of Vortex, modding Skyrim Legendary Edition. My mods are installed, enabled, and deployed, and I have had no path errors. I am loading Skyrim LE through the SKSE loader, and when I get in game, I notice immediately I am not getting the Achievements disabled popup, and when I load in on a new save, my alternate start mod that should be allowing me to circumvent the opening cutscene is clearly not active. I thought maybe it was an isolated issue, but when my hands are unbound and I check my inventory, SkyUI is very clearly not active. None of my mods seem to be active in game. My SKSE version is up to date with Skyrim LE, and I am loading them both through Steam. I have tried many fixes. I purged mods, and redeployed them. I uninstalled all of them and reinstalled them all. I have completely switched Skyrim, SKSE, my mod pathing folder, as well as my mods to a completely different drive and nothing seems to be fixing my issue. When I start Skyrim, it is as though I have not installed and activated any mods whatsoever. Any help is appreciated, and I apologize if I am leaving out any critical information needed for assistance, but since I am receiving no specific error messages, and everything seems to be fine, I'm not sure what else I can provide. HadToRegister
How did you install SKSE?Did you install Manually following the installation instructions in the zip file, or with Vortex?Because installing with Vortex requires you 'rebuild' the zip file. It's much faster and easier to just install it manually. So, you have your Mod Staging Folder on the same drive as the game, and you have your Deployment Method set to HARDLINK? Also, if you're using Windows Defender, turn off "Controlled Folder Access"
Universalistic
I installed SKSE manually, and I do have hardlink deployment on, and yes my mod staging folder is on the same drive as my game.
HadToRegister
Are you using Mod made for Skyrim LE or Skyrim SE?It's a common mistake
Universalistic
I believe it's for LE, but I could be wrong. I installed the classic build via Steam. Is the classic build not for Skyrim LE? And even so, shouldn't my mods that do not require the Script extender be loading. If those mods are for Skyrim LE, they should be loading, that's why I asked if they're for SE or LE
Universalistic
Oh yes, the mods are for LE. I got them on the Skyrim nexus, so they aren't special edition. Or shouldn't be.

OK, because there's a Skyrim LE Nexus, and a Skyrim SE Nexus. We've had quite a few people come in here wondering why the mods don't work, and it turns out they were using the wrong mods for the wrong game. So, I have to make sure that's not what's going on
Universalistic
No, there's a Skyrim Nexus and a Skyrim SE nexus. There isn't a Skyrim LE nexus. At least, that was my impression. That being said, the mods I downloaded are from the Skyrim nexus, and their URL doesn't end in /skyrimspecialedition, but instead in /skyrim. I KNOW it's not called Skyrim LE Nexus, I was just adding the LE to denote the difference between Skyrim Nexus and Skyrim SE nexus. wow...
