Sylaer Posted June 24, 2014 Share Posted June 24, 2014 (edited) I am doing a playthrough on Normal Ironman (with only Hidden Potential as Second Wind option) and the first covert mission is coming up in less then one day, but when i hit the scan for activity button the game freezes for a second and crashes to desktop. I tried again but it still crashes at exactly the same time. There is also a request expiring the same day. I am posting the ending part of the launch.log file. Samakain Posted June 25, 2014 Share Posted June 25, 2014 Hi Guys.Loving the work on this mod, thanks a bunch for throwing life back into the game and sucking hours of my life away in a quite enjoyable way .However I've kicked up a problem I've been trying to solve all day and I can't quite seem to get my head around it. Damaged firestorms seem to hang at 0hrs repair time and never return to active service.Anybody know a fix? or encountered the same problem?Really appreciate the help. Stupid question, but: Is it possible to keep only the XCOM weapons, armour, class and so on aspects of Long War without changing the aliens side of it? The more I mess with Long War, the more I realise I LOVE the added variety and complexity on the player-side. However, I'm a terrible player and the extra difficulty from the larger alien spawns and much more difficult aerial combat is crushing me into the ground. I call this a "stupid question" mostly because I highly doubt this is possible in any practical sense, but it doesn't hurt to ask, I hope. I'll say it again, though - Long War is a massive, impressive effort amounting to essentially a brand new game sharing art assets with XCOM. That is definitely commendable.
