Moving Skyrim Game File

Hey, relatively new to modding. I recently tried to move both my skyrim game file and my mods location to my D drive in order to avoid the potential issues FNIS may have when running from Program Files x86. I used the steam transfer, but know I get several issues where I get red notifications the display:

1. Plugin dependencies unfulfilled

2. Deployment not possible

3. Failed to suggest path

4. Mods cant be deployed

5. You need to select a deployment method in settings

6. Failed to parse plugins

The problem appears to be revolved around Vortex attempting to access the former location of the game file despite changing the MOD Staging folder. Additionally, deployment method is unavailable.

That's because it sounds like you moved the Mods Location with Windows Explorer instead of using Vortex to move it, so, because everything was changed outside of Vortex, Vortex is still looking for the old folder.

If you move folders for ANY Program, by using Windows FIle Explorer rather than moving folder paths using the Program that uses them, then the Program has no idea you moved them.

THIS is where you move the Mod Staging folder from within Vortex.

The Mod Staging Folder needs to be on the same drive as the Game.
