Spagelo
The game folders themselves will have placeholder files telling me that Vortex is managing them. So what happened to them? Where did they go? I need manual access.

Spagelo
To which folders? The Download and Mod Staging Folder?Well, for instance, I'm trying to access data folders in Fallout New Vegas and the only thing I'll find in a lot of them is "__folder_managed_by_vortex". I want to find where these files are held so that I can edit them.

I want to find where these files are held so that I can edit them. If you're looking to edit the ESP files, then use FNVedit, it will know where to find the files. If you're looking to edit the meshes or textures, then just right click on the mod on the MOD tab, and pick "Open in File Manager" and it will open up the Mod Staging folder where the file actually exists

D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\meshes\characters\Hair I'm trying to delete anything that would normally go in these files because a mod is causing enlarged heads with slight clothing and hair clipping. Like I said, if you know which mod it is, Right Click on the mod and select "Open in file manager", Vortex with then open the folder where the actual files are installed and you can browse from there to the two files you want to delete
