I already have different mods through the bethesda site but I wanted one that was not in the bethesda site for PC. So I downloaded the mod and installed it but the mod did not move to the data of my game and I had to reenable all the mods I had previously through Bethesda. Was there something I am missing? Solution rmm200 Posted July 16, 2020 Solution Share Posted July 16, 2020 (edited) Understand that mods installed through Vortex NEVER move to your data folder.They live in your mod staging folder and a hard link to them (or a sym link) is placed in your data folder.I can't tell you much about Bethesda mods - I avoid the Creation Club like the plague.You don't say how you installed the non-Bethesda mod.Correct way, if not from Nexusmods, is to manually download it and drag it to the Vortex Mod page (Drop Files).
