Salackto
I've been using Vortex since it came out and have never had any issues with it, but now that I've gotten a proper gaming PC suddenly vortex just doesn't seem to be able to get the gamebryo-plugin-indexlock to work and I get the error message[The extension "gamebryo-plugin-management" wasn't found in the repository. This might mean that the extension isn't available on Nexus at all or has been excluded for compatibility reasons. Please check the installation instructions for the extension] I have diabled controlled folder access in windows defender, reinstalled vortex, updated it today even. Then I saw a post where it was suggested to roll it back so I tried rolling it back even today to see if that would work but still the same error. I am completely unable to install any mods, I got this PC a week ago and yes I've made sure that EVERY driver is up to date for every part of it so thats not the issue either if anybody can give me even the smallest hint as to how to get this working so I can actually enjoy playing my games please help me. Tannin42
On the "Extensions" page, can you find the "gamebryo plugin management" extension? If it's there but disabled, enable it.

Leutro
same issue here. have reinstalled my game, reinstalled vortex, swapped to an earlier version, and uninstalled my antivirus.I'm completely unable to install mods via the vortex launcher for skyrim. I've manually installed most of them instead but would love to be able to use the mod manager in the future.

DECATOR
For me, I had to click on the failed extension, restart vortex, then click on them again to re-enable the extension
