Windows Edge and Vortex

The latest version of Edge is Chromium based. I read somewhere that Google Chrome which is Chromium based is not compatible with Nexus and I'm wondering what, if any issues, this is going to cause me going forward. I recently returned to the game and am new to Vortex and before I start downloading a bunch of mods I'd like to know that all is OK with my current browser.

where did you read that a website that has millions of users, and serves thousands of downloads a day isn't compatible with the #1 browser on the planet?

The author of the vid, whose name shall remain anonymous, is well known throughout the world of modding. It just so happens that the topic was the new mod manager for Nexus namely Vortex which was still in it's alpha state at the time. As far as I can determine, Vortex is working fine for me and I am impressed with the time saving tools it has built into it

One possible contributing factor to the confusion is the option in Vortex (still in v1.2.20) under SETTINGS > DOWNLOAD. "Fix Nexus Mods links in Chrome (Only required in Chrome. Requires Chrome to be closed)." There is more detail available in a pop-up window, but I can see how a person who didn't follow through with reading or who is using old/outdated info might get the wrong idea. It could be interpreted to mean something is broken (despite the fact that a fix is a click away). No software is user-proof. There's not much that can be done about a loose nut behind the keyboard.

A video that was released when Vortex was in Alpha is obviously outdated, even if it contains some facts that are still current.

As for me, I jumped on the Chromium Edge opportunity the day it was released to the public. Zero issues with Nexus (or anything else, for that matter).
