Retrieve aetherial crown

Hello,

Believe it or not I've lost my aetherial crown, I think I inadvertently sold it to some merchant :wallbash: I tried adding it to my inventory using the console but it doesn't work (doesn't store previous powers), I suppose there's some script attached to it, so any idea to get a working one would greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Best thing I could suggest, which I assume you've tried already, would be to look around and see if you can find the merchant you sold it too. It should still be there - I've sold items to Lucan Valerius at level 10 that he still had, with the upgrades and enchantments I originally gave them, at level 40. It's a bit of a hassle, checking all of them; but it might be the best way to get it back.

very good comment i remembered losing one of my daedric artifacts and went completely sad as i was 81 and and looked all over for it and finally found it at a merchant so i suggest the same thing and hope that it hasn't fallen through the floor of the game and the very best of luck to finding it

@ Zalman1337

Just tried resurrecting him and he doesn't have it, I've tested previous saves and the last time I had the crown was 30 hours ago...

@jack013

It looks that there is a "hidden perk" linked to the crown, not sure how I could add a new functional one to the game, just adding the item seems insufficient.

This probably won't work, but try getting a copy from the Testing Hall. Open the console and type coc qasmoke. That will teleport you to a hidden cell full of Dwemer dressers. A door at one end of the room opens onto two dressers with one copy of every item added by Dawnguard.

Ok just tried this with no result...

i didn't know that. have you tried adding the perk to yourself?

It's somehow messy to add that perk manually, the previous power is stored but not removed when the crown is unequipped, looks like equipipng/unequipping the crown is what triggers adding/removing the perk and this definitely doesn't work with duplicates of the crown.

If someone more skilled with the CK could take look and give some hints on how to spawn a new working aetherial crown, it would be awesome.
