Tidus44
I always wondered how Karliah was able to paralyze my character with a poisoned arrow when she is vampire with 100% immunity to poison? I thought vampires only had a resistance (not specifically an immunity) to poison. While a resistance is great, it isn't immunity and certainly a special poison that took a year to formulate is not the average, run of the mill, day to day poison that one would run across normally in the game. One would think Karliah's poison would be significantly stronger and unrelated to normal poisons and thus overwhelm any poison resistance and have an effect on the player. Either that or the game makers didn't anticipate a vampire with 100% immunity or they didn't care as the quest won't advance without Karliah knocking the PC out in order to have the conversation with Mercer. I'll leave it to you to decide which suits your game play best as this is only my thoughts.
Georgiegril
As far as I am aware, Karliah is not a vampire. Unless you are using some mod that makes her one?
sajuukkhar9000
As far as I am aware, Karliah is not a vampire. Unless you are using some mod that makes her one?Victoria was not talking about Karliah being a vampire...... she was talking about Karliah being able to poison a vampire, when vampires have 100% immunity to poison. but to answer to OP's question, its just part of the mission, it doesn't technically make sense, but a lot of things dont because Bethesda can't account for every single possible level of resistances and whatnot a player might have.
