wzkyaggo
Hi, I have 2 questions about Skyrim Mods. I have the original game on Steam. 1) The graphic mods that make towns and villages look more beautiful decrease many fps according to my PC settings shown below ? 2)Is there any kind of conflict or problem if I install Steam Mods and Nexus Mods ? My PC: I5 650 3.2 Ghz, ATI 5570 1GB, 4GB DDR3 1333 Mhz, 1920 x 1080 ( Max Resolution) And the game automatically set the graphics to High... scot
The only problem I got with the the workshop once was that it was automatically uploading mods to my game and I don´t even go to the workshop -.- had to look for them then and unsubscribe. I prefer installing mods in the old fashioned way so I know what I´m putting into my game. Edited February 2, 2013 by scot
Hyacathusarullistad
The only good feature Steam offers is the ability to run it in Offline mode. Stick to the Nexus for mods, I say.
hector530
unless mods conflict which can happen even if use "nexus" only mods. there's no problem from using mods from more then one site and yes there's more modding sites than steam and nexus. Will mods automatically update on Steam when you are subscribed and the mod maker releases an update?

893kira
Steam Mods have also pros and cons:Pros: 1. Steam mods downloading time is quite much better than Nexus. 2. Self updating mod compared to Nexus Manager. Also some steam modders said their mods is quite easy to upgrade in steam. 3. Some good mods you cannot find in Nexus are there Cons: 1. Unsubscribe mod doesn't delete their files in Skyrim Data folder. Only uncheck them in data loader 2. Steam is freaking slow to load because of many useless ads. 3. Steam have load order limit and doesn't have support in BOSS
Rooker75
Why is it not surprising to learn Steam forces updates to mods? Those people really do believe they gain ownership of your PC when you install Steam.
