Buy or Build? any help would be great

Well for the past year I've been slowing trying o get money to build a pc

I've finnaly got enough money to build one or buy one.

Thing is I don't know anything about pc parts.. my friend gave a themaltake case other then that I don't know anything,

He is not aware of all of the new tech out So I thought I'll come and ask a few of you people.

Can anyone give me a list of you great parts for a complete build?

I have about 1,100 budget

That is not really a gaming PC, it is more of an all-round multimedia PC.

 

The gt630 is not really fast enough for full HD gaming, and the core i7 is not needed for gaming.

Take out the SSD and the case and you should be close to your budget.

 

Edit: One more thing is to check newegg.com for the parts and make a wishlist to see what price you'll get.

Hey :)

 

Build build build build, buying a Gaming PC is the worst thing you can do if you ask me, completely over priced and the satisfaction you get when you build yourself your own custom computer is just something else.

 

My budget was around £700 and I run Skyrim on Ultra at 60fps, I never ever drop below 30. Copy my build as a guideline, basic, and upgrade it with what you have spare (i'm not sure if your talking that 1,100 in dollars or pounds)

Case: CoolerMaster Storm Scout MidTower

Motherboard: ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3

CPU and Heatsink Fan: AMD Phenom II X6 1045T 2.70GHz (You could buy an after market Heatsink fan with any extra money you have, but the temperatures I get are great without.)

GPU: XFX Radeon HD 6870 1GB DDR5

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz

PSU: Corsair Gaming Series GS600W

Memory Drive: Seagate Barracuda 500GB HDD

OS: Windows 7 Home/Pro/Ultimate 64bit (Or Windows 8 if you swing that way)

 

While I don't have a disc tray installed in my build anymore, you can buy yourself one, they're only cheap but not specifically 'necessary' for it. Other than, of course, loading your OS onto your hard drive. Any money you have left over, grab some upgrades. If you're outside the UK, obviously don't buy from the links I've given you but search for those products on Amazon.com, etc.
