Mods where manually added archives were uninstalled to reinstall?

This is due more of a tug-o-war...

1. I had 300+ mods running, all running smooth.

2. played for 900+ hours.

3. somehow steam and my image got out of sync - game acted as if I never downloaded it from steam, yet retained an older image of it from a month prior.

4. So steam support suggested the only way to fix it was re-download the game.

5. So I backed up the image I had - locally just in case.

6. I downloaded the game, which cleared the game directory.

7. used seedit to autoclean the dlc's (the dlc's in my game were before)

7. So I just fake-forced a purge from from Vortex and did a redeploy.

8. I thought everything was fine but then saves sporadically ctd - never happened before and not every save and only on "new saves" created after all the above, and not every one.

9. So overlayed with the backed up from my local image I took at step 5 ... made no differences.

10 so purged the game directory again, and proceeded all over again ... made no differences.

--- now the issue...

11. So, decided to uninstall every mod individually straight down the row intending to install them again.

12. realized after the fact that mods added in via added "from file (rather than a vortex download) do not show-up in the uninstalled list. Only those which Vortex downloaded do (which count to 179).

So, I know all the archives are in the archive director - but am at a loss as to how to identify which are no longer installed - when I go to the directory it thinks they're all installed. I'm missing about 150 out of over 300. They're in the archive directory but how do I identify those?

This happened to quite a few people just a couple weeks ago, the fix was just to go into STEAM--------->SETTINGS---------->DOWNLOADS----------->Clear Download Cache

The problem is, is that you keep restoring an installation that Vortex now has no record of.

You need to start Clean, I would suggest manually deleting your Skyrim directory and installing from scratch
Don't just have Steam delete the directory, because any mods you have installed Steam won't delete, so you have to manually delete the directory.

Go to the MOD tab, hit CTRL+A then click at the bottom GUESS IDS to get any metadata that the other mods are missing.

All your downloaded mods should be in your DOWNLOAD directory, but for the mods that you added from a File, I'm assuming you downloaded those Manually, so you need to find the folder where you've been dragging those mods from, to Vortex.
