Help, getting errors when clicking elevate.

I have attached all info and warn outputs, not sure if debug is needed or not. Happens after clicking elevate for my mods. Most of the things on the bottom seem to be saying EPERM errors (not sure how to fix that).

Looks like you don't have permission to create symlinks. Is D:\ a removable hard drive or something?

Yes it is, I have enabled full control over the drive for all users and I also click allow when vortex prompts the user control window. It still gives this error though.

Vortex can't be "wrong" about this, that's not how it works.

Vortex tries to create the directory, "operation not permitted" is what the operating system says why it refused. There is nothing Vortex could be doing wrong here, it's trying to create that folder, it's windows that says "Nein!".

 

It could be that you didn't actually enable full control to the filesystem (each subdirectory can have its own permissions that can overrule the permissions on the parent directory), it could be that the drive is read-only on a firmware level, it could be that you have some form of compression/encryption/virtualization driver on top of the regular filesystem that prevents it but something on a lower level than Vortex prevents it from writing there.

Who should I be granting access to? It seems there are a few choices here. I have tried to allow ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES and users to have full control and currently applying to each individual subdirectory.
