ivangeld
I've just downloaded Vortex and installed 2 mods for Skyrim SE: the unofficial patch and SkyUI. I've also installed SKSE64 to make sure that they both work. With all of the tutorial videos I've been watching, after clicking install on a mod, the configuration wizard for that mod should automatically open and allow you to access the various options that are available. Previously, I used these same two mods using Mod Organizer 2 and was prompted to configure the Unofficial Patch. However, after installing the mods, and even reinstalling, I'm never given the option to configure the mod. Is there a way to manually open that wizard? Am I missing a step? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
HadToRegister
I don't recall ANY configurations for the Unofficial patch.Of course, you only have the Unofficial Patch and SkyUI installed, so if there's any configuration that DOES open up, it must've been for other mods you had installed previously. ivangeld
That's entirely possible. Can you suggest a mod that I can use to test it? I'm totally open to the idea that I've just confused myself.

Not off hand, I have 316 mods for SSE installed and I don't ever remember any config menu showing up.The Unofficial patch just fixes problems within the game, there would be no need for them to make patches for other mods.It would be the other way around. ivangeld
Are you saying you have 316 mods installed and running together at the same time?
ivangeld
...also, it appears you were completely correct. I just installed the SMIM and it did give me a configuration prompt. No idea where the other one I rant into came from. Sucks being a noob...
HadToRegister
Are you saying you have 316 mods installed and running together at the same time? Yes, 316, I converted some of them with Vortex to "Light" Espfes, so they don't take up a slot in the load order.
