Risibisi
Hello, hello! Could someone please, explain me how to create a pm for several recipients? I’ve read the help readme and it says there should pop up an additional box for the other recipients but…ahem.. there is none when composing a new pm!? Is this option maybe only for the moderators? Thanks in advance!:)
Hickory
I've never seen a multiple recipient option on the Nexus forums. It's probably disabled (an admin thing).
Risibisi
Oh, but it must possible I got two mails with more than 1 recipients and in the read me it's described but maybe the help menu is outdated, it's disabled or it's because they were mails from a moderator. Thanks for your reply!:) tarting a new conversationTo start a new conversation, start by pressing the "http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_images/Dark/note_add.png Compose New" button. Enter the user's name into the "Recipient's Name" field. As you type, suggestions will appear below the box. When you see the member you are looking for, click on their name. You may also be able to add other recipients into the "Other Recipients" box. If so, the next option allows you to specify how the messages will be sent to alternate recipients: "Invitation" allows all invited members to participate in a single conversation, while "Copy" will send a separate conversation to each member. Hickory
It *is* possible on IP Board forums, but the administrators also have the ability to disable it -- the help document won't tell you if it's been disabled. Like I said, I have never seen a multiple option on the Nexus before, and there is no user setting for it, either.
Risibisi
Okay! Too bad! It would be very handy to have that option. Thank you!:)
JimboUK
What worked elsewhere was putting a comma or semi colon between the user names of those you want to PM, I don't know if that's disabled here or not.
Thandal
It's totally possible to have multiple recipients for a PM. :ermm: On the left side menu bar, look for "Invite Participants" and choose "Add", then then start typing the username of the person(s) you want to... well, "add".
JimboUK
I don't have "Invite Participants" on mine, it appears you have something enabled which we don't. http://i.imgur.com/rxFO4q6.jpg
Hickory
Yep, I concur with jim_uk, there is no such option here.
Lisnpuppy
Yeah Thandal I think ours is different. On ours there is a bar right under where you put the first person's name to "add participants" I seem to remember when I wasn't a moderator not being about to send to multiple people or not figuring it out anyway.:wallbash:
