Quite done with Skyrim

Mods can be nice but can cause one heck of a headache the amount of possible conflicts it can cause in a DLC or other mods. Removing them the save file can still hold it leaving you to restart a new game... You install mods at your own risk, from a bloating save file or save file CTD from accessing leftover scripts from some mod you uninstalled. I use to have about 65 some mods I'm down to 15 just keeping the essential mods then I restarted a new game.

To be honest the dlc is probably ment to be installed over a vanilla skyrim not these mods and so forth, i for one appreciate all the mods available to us but bethesda released the game for vanilla, before people axe me I know dragon born will work with some mods obviously its luck. But let's be honest don't just cry on a forum that it doesn't work, just back up your save via steam uninstall and try again

You just need to wait really. Loads of mods are screwed again and they need time to put things back to working order. It's easy on Xbox because there aren't any mods to deal with.

I've been playing a little the last couple of days but I'm getting crashes too so I'm just going to call it in for a while until the mods stabilize again.

Same thing happened with Dawnguard, some people had genuine problems but most of them were mod conflicts.

Honestly the amount of complaints seems fairly minimal, very few seem to be genuinely problems with the DLC.

After trying this and that since yesterday some problems are gone or reduced to acceptable levels now the only game breaking thing now is the freezes, the game freezes for a few seconds periodically(periods of a few secs) and after a couple of minutes it crashes or completely freezes so I have to terminate it with the task manager.

As odd as it might sound have you tried getting the 3rd texture pack? And at least to me your load order looks a little odd are you using BOSS to sort load order?

SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators. I don't use it and can't claim to know much about it, but from what I saw of what it does it might cause a few problems, but IDK.

Also as I mentioned before I've heard the Unofficial patch's cause problems and if it is them you might very well need a clean install/save or wait they until update and fix any problems they may be causing.

Yea they are ordered with boss I only moved UFO to the end cause otherwise UFO functions may not work for me. I tried to deactivate all the mods including skyTEST also unofficial patches etc too. Especially the freezing is getting worse and worse and saves keep bloating bt around 4 mb with each new save. I haven't gotten the 3rd texture pack but can it solve such a problem? If so I'm getting two of it

I haven't found a bug in Dragonborn yet. Plenty of mods running. I tend to not have the game-breakers other people do. Sometimes I have mod conflicts in general. That's when I make a save, and start playing with which mods do what, and I can sort it out almost every time

When you can mod a game, it's hard to point fingers at the developer and yell "they broke my game". I know that having bugs is frustrating, but if it was 'broken' DLC then everyone would have the problem that everyone else does, in the same areas with the same things.
