I signed up for a premium account today and one of the things I was supposed to get... or so I thought anyway... was an increase in download speeds I assumed through the use of the "Download With Manger" button. I tried it and it still does nothing just like it did before I signed up. So I downloaded the file the old way and didn't notice any increase in download speed. There are literally a ton of FAQs and tutorials and explanations on this site and I.m not sure where to start looking for help on this so I was hoping someone could point me to the one along the lines of "Premium Downloading for Morons" or something of that nature.

Premium downloads on NMM for morons.

1. Open NMM, and click on settings. (The two gears.)

2.Click 'Download Options'

3.Tick the "Only connect to premium servers" option.

And remember, "Premium" can't do anything about your ISP's speed. I'm on a DSL that maxes-out at 1.5Mbps (187.5KBps) so it will never matter what (higher) speeds the Nexus will allow me. :dry:
