Imagine what is right wing for the rest of the world. Then divide it in two parts. The left part of the right wing is what USA considers "left", the right part of the right wing is what USA considers "right".

 

To the rest of the world looks like its between very right wing, or a little less right wing.

in general i don't think good about america and a Obama cannot change my views. it's not the american people itself, but more the arrogant foreign politics of the US government and the abuse of its intelligence services who think as if they could play the world police. but this isn't true. the list of bad things is endless in my opinion, but this is another topic. :dry:

I think his timing could have been better, the current world climate and lack of enough seats for a large majority has made him seem a tad ineffectual, but on the whole I like the guy. Not as entertaining as Boris Johnson though :biggrin:

Too be honest, i think he's an okay kind of guy. But as several people have mentioned he does remind me of an american Tony Blair (Take that how you will) I'm not too fond of his increasing use of drones though, too many innocents are killed by them.

Looks clever, honest, very charismatic and a bit socialist.

 

I think that his objective is to be the guy that everyone loves. Populism ideology. The idea is to demonstrate humility and be THE MOST charismatic politic and to have influence in the masses.

 

Here in Argentina is very common this kind of strategy, but of course, has no comparison with Obama's ideas and strategy.
