GhostWarrior13000
I made my BSA file with archive.exe tool and it has the same name as the esp. I packed them together in a zip file. When I play the game , the game doesn't detect the files within the BSA archive at all, the esp loads but the BSA is completely ignored.
IsharaMeradin
The files packed in the BSA are they in the correct folder structure relative to the Data folder? Is the BSA compressed? For SSE, BSAs that contain only textures should be compressed all other BSAs should remain uncompressed.
cumbrianlad
i'm just curious how you know the BSA files are being ignored. When uploading a mod, I make the BSAs, copy all my loose files to another directory and delete the originals from the Data Directory and test again to see that the BSA is being read and my mod will run off the BSA files. if the BSA files and the loose files are in Skyrim's data folder, it will use the loose files and ignore the BSA files, anyway. That's just how the game works. Have you done some sort of experiment? If so, I'm interested...
