DoctorKaizeld Posted October 4, 2020 Share Posted October 4, 2020 Are the mods being added correctly? Did you install SKSE into the steamapps game folder with the Skyrim exe? Deleted3897072User Posted October 5, 2020 Share Posted October 5, 2020 Try installing "Alternate Start - Live Another Life" by Arthmoor. It doesn't have any pre-requisites so you don't need to have installed anything else for it to work. If it's working, when you start a NEW game, you will see the difference immediately. You won't see the cart ride scene at all but find yourself standing in a dungeon. If you still see the cart ride, then there is something wrong with the way you are installing mods. Gunslinger808 Posted October 5, 2020 Share Posted October 5, 2020 (edited) Are you starting your game through SKSE, or from the Steam site?You should always start through SKSE, heck, it should be pinned to your task bar.Also, did you install SKSE from the silver lock site, and if so what version?Classic build, current SE, or current VR?Did you use 7zip to extract the files, or did you use something from the Windows app store?
