Fresh install and keep the mod list

Hello there,

I need help for something really simple (I guess) but i'm completly lost....

Recently I get the huge bug on fallout 4, game crash on quick save and hard save, even if I start a new game after a period of time the bug came back again.
So i decide to make a fresh install and re install my mods correctly. But after 2 days of re downloading and installing the game. I started Nexus and I did something wrong (maybe) because Nexus re install all mods, bugs and everythings...it's like I did nothing
My question is : How to re install fallout 4 clean and make a new "profil" in Nexus to add my mods in a clean way ? (and in option, can I keep my mods list somewere ?)
I try to do it be myself but I fail.
Thanks for reading me.
I hope someone can help.
Robben.

Well, the question is, when you reinstalled the Game, did you PURGE all the mods first, uninstall all the mods, and then delete the game folder, then reinstall the game?

Because if you just deleted the game folder without purging the mods, then Vortex is going to keep restoring everything because it doesn't know that you deleted the mods.

The easiest way to have done this was to

1. PURGE the mods using Vortex.

2. Uninstall the game

3. Manually delete the game folder

4. Re-install the game

5. DEPLOY the mods

You could've started where you left off.

___________________________________________________________________________

A. TRY THIS:

Click on PURGE MODS.

Then go to the MODS TAB, click on one mod, then hit CTRL + A, then select REMOVE, DO NOT Check "DELETE ARCHIVE" in the pop up.

If all the mods properly purge and remove, then your game folder should be empty of your mods

Then you should be able to install them one by one.

_________________________________________________

B. IF trying A. DOESN'T WORK...then you'll need to do this following steps.

What you need to do

1. Go to c:\users\YOUR NAME\appdata\roaming\Vortex and delete everything in the Vortex folder

2. Uninstall your game

3. Manually delete the game folder

4. Re-Install the game

5. Set up vortex again

6. Download and install your mods.

You DO NOT need LOOT, LOOT is built into Vortex.

Lol, I used LOOT befor vortex existe, it's just a précision. I use LOOT into the vortex rules like everybody 271 mods do u think I never had any conflicting mod ??

By LOOT I simply meant the people who made these tools. It seemed obvious to me

I have 324 mod in Skyrim SE, Vortex told me which mods were conflicting, thanks to LOOT being built in, it was a matter of making a few LOAD BEFORE or LOAD AFTER rules, and I was done.

Using Standalone LOOT outside of Vortex is a bad idea, and NOT Recommended by anybody in here.
