hoofhearted4
i already posted this in the Far Cry 3 section, but i post here too, in hopes more traffic sees it. i have reconfigured my controls a little bit, i move with the QWES keys, and A and D are remapped to whatever Q and E were, D in particular isInteract. i just just started played, maybe 45minutes in or so, and when i get into a car, W and S work as theyshould, but Q and E do not steer the car at all. A does not steer thecar, and D just makes me exit the car. the intructions say A/D to steerand D to exit. which makes no sence. so atm i cannot steer a car, and its extremely frustrating. anyone know what button im supposed to use to steer since i remapped WASD? ziitch
I want to say that movement and driving controls are differently mapped in case if the player has a racing wheel plugged into the computer - It'd be hard to move around on foot by turning the wheel! Yeah, do a little exploring and you should find vehicle controls. Edited February 28, 2013 by ziitch
hoofhearted4
haha stupid me. changing the regular controls conflicts with the driving controls. but right there plain as day is an option to configure driving controls. set those to QWES and im all set now haha. too obvious. billyro
Sucks about how you can't turn the wheel slowly when using keyboard though...
