skyrim crashes just before character creation with 100+ mods

Okay first I have Skyrim v1.8.151.0.7 with Dawnguard,Hearthfire,HD Textures DLC and now Dragonborn. For some reason when starting a new game the intro plays out fine up til the point where the cart stops just before character creation.Unmodded no problems here but as soon as I start a new game after adding mods it hangs up.I guess "crash" isn't the word it freezes. So I Ctl+Alt+Del and start task manager and it says that Skyrim is "Not Responding".I've done several clean installs including adding one mod at a time with no idea the culprit.I read somewhere,i forget where, that Skyrim doesn't play nice with a new game and many mods.I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and found a solution.I tried Quickstart_no helmet v3 but that one crashes the game when I try to change the sex of the character. The only workaround to that is to take the default character and get out of the cave and then go to showracemenu. Here is my mod list.I use Wrye Bash v303,BOSS and TESVEdit to clean the mods BOSS says are dirty.

64,65 and 66 are the only unrecognized mods.Adding them to the bottom of the load order hasn't interfered with the games I have saved nor has the adding them one at a time solved the problem.I need this fixed because I think my save games are corrupt now as they won't load.I just get to stare at the loading screen for awhile til I just start Task Manager and see that Skyrim is not responding.

One thing I am going to try this time for the sake of my computer, and to see if it will help,is to optimize the textures.I have the official HD's and also use the Texture Pack Combiner (low res versions). Not sure if DDSOpt or the Optimizer is better for the purpose.

Also what's up with PyFFI?I remember with Oblivion PyFFIing the meshes helped out ALOT with CTD's and random freezes.Google hasn't turned up any new info on it though and I haven't been checking the forums alot lately.

Thank You for your help.

Edit:Here is my renderer info log and my PC Specs.

You may have better luck not adding any mods until after exiting the cave at Helgen.

Also, did you reinstall Skyrim before starting? If you are trying to start on an old installation, it is possible that you have orphaned scripts or the like.

Finally if you wait to add mids until afterwards, you will find slowly adding mods and playing a bit before adding a few more makes troubleshooting much faster, since you will only have a few mods to investigate instead of 60+

Personally, I get the impression that it's not the number of mods that cause the trouble - it's the incompatibility. If only two mods clash with each other, it could cause a CTD, and as GeorgieGril says, just add the mods you love most, then see if it loads, then add a few more and see if it loads. Rinse and repeat. When it crashes again, one of the mods you just loaded is the evil-doer, so add them one at a time.

Also, if you've upgraded recently with an Unofficial Patch, then several of the mods may need updating too. And I had a few CTD problems with race clashes until I loaded the "Racial Compatibility" mod, which ensures that different races don't clash. Hope this helps.

I do add them slowly and play a bit.Typically I wait ten days then just screw around for about 15 mins, save, exit, add mods, etc. This is a tried and true practice I used with Oblivon(although I used coc testinghall as the safe spot to wait). When I add mods I try to only add 2 or 3 like mods at a time.I've researched compatibilty to make sure only one mod affects things. The test game I use is fine, though the game sometimes will hang up on loading a save, usually closing and restarting Skyrim fixes that.Other than that I have no problems with the game playing. It doesn't CTD even after playing 2-3 hours at all, which is why I'm not certain its the mods.As I stated,I did read somewhere that Skyrim sometimes freezes with a modded game when starting a new game.Starting a new game after adding the mods however, the game freezes everytime at the exact same spot, just as your character is starting to stand up in the cart to dismount. There's an autosave there then you go to character creation.Sometimes the test save freezes a bit during an autosave(which I will turn off and test now to see if that might be what's causing the freeze).

All my mods I have downloaded are the most recent versions, some haven't been updated but they never gave me problems with Official Updates before. The only race I use is Lunari and I installed the Race Compatiblity mod.

I wil try uninstalling the mods and getting to the exit of the cave and the adding the mods, but doesn't showracemenu screw with the save?

Dragon diversified is down, no more up to date and Erkeil/ERSO Mighty dragon who made the patch for DDragon mention it.

apashii cause ctd only in showracemenu if there is to much hair pack

which version of SFO are you using? mine is .179 with only 1 .esp

then GeorgieGirl is right and it's a advise i give at will, install your mods in Riverwood, save in a shop, alvor's house, a small cell, and start to install the mods 1 by 1 or 5 by 5 , all textures at once doesn't matter, however the scripted mods needs to be injected slowly, check if every thing is fine before installing a new one , this way you'll now which one is the culprit.

I removed SFO because it was part of the TPC set I was using. It caused conflicts with the HD DLC.I am going to try the HiRezOptimized that STEP recomends for video cards with les than 1GB VRAM.I'm only using Apachii hair.So far Skyrim immersive Creatures was causing me problems so I took it out.As for Dragon mods, while they are all latest versions,I still have the old DDDiversified patch. So far it has served well.I'm about halfway through my build right now.No problems thus far.

I stlii haven't tried a new game yet and when I'm done with the build I will do so.That's where I run into the same problem of the game freezing at the same spot over and over.
