Untouchable1
My newest character is a member of the Imperial Legion and House Redoran. I've done about 10 quests for Legions and noticed you only get a little armor when you Rank up. Thats not even even enough for travel expenses. But I've heard Redoran doesn't pay that well either. My guy is just broke and hasn't done any of the Redoran quests yet so do they even give any money or what? Of course someone is probly wondering 'wtf are you doing broke?' I put limits on him like no stealing, no mindless killing, and no using Creeper or Mudcrab, to make the game more fun and interesting. I also did join Mages and Fighters guilds and want around collecting the member chest items to sell but i used all that money to buy real good heavy and medium armor. Well not that that predicted question is answered can someone tend to mine?
cmac
I can't really see how you're broke- Morrowind is a game filled with loose money or easy oppurtunities for making money. House Hlaalu is a much better House if you want full pockets- you get 1000 gold for solving the murder of Ralen Hlaalo in an early quest, and another 1000 for killing a Kwama Queen. Raind a few bandit caves or join the Morag Tong if you want money.
the_ragnarok702
Once you get reall late in the game you will notice that 1000 gil is really NOT that much money at all. So i pick a house completely for the strongold and hlaalu stronghold is just pathatic telvanni is pretty big and cool and i dont know about Redoron cause i never have done their quests. Adras
I think you mean Gold, or Septims =o) Gil is in Final Fantasy I believe. lol ANyways, I have NEVER played a game of Morrowind where I havent stolen money, but heres a question for yeh, If you go into a Smugglers Cave, or some other cave, would you take stuff that you found? Because thats technically not stealing.
ensis
Yeah, I always do that actually. I've never put a limit on myself in regards to stealing. If I notice something that can be put into my possession without much hassle I'll attempt it.
Mamo
Yes, i too usally play with no creeper or mudcrab as well...makes the game funner when you actually have to work with your money rather than just have way to much and not worry about it. Switch
Well the idea of the Imperial Legion is that you get supplied decent-ish armour, for free. I think that's pretty generous personally, especially since you can get the Lord's Mail, and Chrysamere, through doing their quests. ;) Redoran are pretty cheap I've heard, it's been a long time since I did quests for them myself so I can't really remember. If you want money, like people have said, just raid bandit caves. Then once you're level 20+ you can hunt Daedra, that's when the money really starts rolling in. Though probably not if you use NPC shops to sell your stuff with a max of 1200 or so per item. :P
the_ragnarok702
No the best place to get money is to raid the dren plantation. There is over 300,000 gold worth in all the daedric items found there.

Adras
I never have the patience to go and find the dumb Mudcrab, plus I believe he buys only liquor. And Creeper, I dont think I have ever used. Even though I could get filthy rich, from all the stuff i have, but I dont use him. O.o Havent figured out why yet. And if the Lord's Mail is the one you get from underneith Ebonheart in the Underground Caves, then I already have it. I got bored and just killed the guy. Unfortunatly, I die after being hit once by him, so I had to levitate and stay away from him while casting spells. Again, unfortunatly, he can also levitate, as I've found out many times =o(
