Skill based system with a Mass Effect style of combat. Worlds supposedly 3x larger than WoW with all its expansions. Beta is released this summer, Game released this fall. Yes, Earthrise will (hopefully) be a star on the MMORPG heaven. It's really promising. There are no levels, no classes, it's just skill-based. FFA PVP is a matter of taste, but Earthrise will have features like a bounty for hunting PKs. ;) And it will be a very economy driven MMO. I would say it's designed for experienced players who played Ultima Online and so on. The main enemy is the Big Sister, who will attack you at intervals if you frequently rescue and adopt Little Sisters. There's a lot of information at Bioshock 2 Forums. Thousands of obejcts can be calculated simultanously and in real time.
