starfis
The rat's paw looks pretty good, it is probably as close we can get to humanoid looking animal "hand". http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3282/2543834049_e983c6d244.jpganother one. and here you can find a lot of reference images for fantastic creatures. Danidragon
I think I might've found something useful http://fav.me/d2clzgr http://fav.me/d2cm0uz http://zoroha.deviantart.com/art/The-Claw-98110437 http://s3.amazonaws.com/picable/2007/11/18/79925_Lizard-Hand_400.jpg http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q619/tvmoviegifts/42515lizardhandsforcostumeamazingspiderman.jpg http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6066/6128063646_60439f3b10_m.jpg........I hope one of these will prove useful . Derok
In my opinion, creating new claw meshes and stick them on fingers is a terrible idea. The result will be ugly, claws and fingers will look separate things and I don't like that. I want simply to enlarge existing claws and give them a more curved shape. I'd like to use rats for reference anyway, because seem to fit both Argonians and Khajiits and look a good balance between human and beast. And this link doesn't work:http://s3.amazonaws.com/picable/2007/11/18/79925_Lizard-Hand_400.jpg%C2%A0 Edited April 12, 2013 by Derok
Danidragon
Mh,strange.Doesen't work for me either . Yeah,my concept of it was enlarging the existing mesh too, then modifying the texture a bit.
Drohung
I'll upload a picture to show what I mean by the shadow textures being off once I get the chance.
Derok
I always wondered why Argonians claws have the tip colored of green. I checked and... It's an uv map mistake. Some vertices are stretched outside.Bethesda what are you doing?Anyway I think "claws" are a lazy last minute decision, just like "hey! Why we don't just stretch nails a bit and pass them for claws? So fans will be happy!". http://i.imgur.com/BDZ1qKW.jpg But this will come later, I checked this just for curiosity and there's still a lot of work to do with the bodies. Drohung
Bethesda was REALLY lazy when it came to the small details in Skyrim. Specifically the beast races. In the vanilla game, they couldn't even take the time to put the tail in the right spot. http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg576/Drohung-DragonNinja/2013-04-04_00003_zpsa4f5cd0e.jpg There's a pic of one of my argonians, though. He's named Sleeps-In-Mud.He looks great with the mod, but, if you look at his feet, the coloring is just a TAD off. It's hard to notice, but it's there. Derok
Yeah it looks slightly brighter. With vanilla colors looks ok, but you can try to darken it from yourself if you can.I don't really like claws being the same color of the body tell me if it's ok. Danidragon
At least Beth did a good job at the heads . Let's not even mention the blocky human vanilla feet .
