Senviro
Bilo, Derok. There is one very large flaw with each of your ideas of digitigrade legs. They're both correct. The minor problems lie in the look of the vanilla body itself. The length of the thighs and of the shins varies on the body they're meant to support, and in keeping with the humanoid trend that the beast races have, the current and more subtle legs made for the original skeleton do fit the look of them. For your proportions to work, Bilo, then the resting posture of the body as a whole may need to be changed. Either way, both are possible. The only three downsides I see to elongating the shins would be the possibility of someone not liking it, texture distortion, and of course armor clipping. All-in-all, I just make stuff, and don't really care  Edited April 28, 2013 by Senviro
Furrywolf
Would it be weird if you'd shift the weight and made the back bend a little for a more ''feral'' look if you're increasing shins and thinning the thighs? Or would that just make him look like he's in a hunting mode all day long. Or more beastial, I dunno :)
bilotheretard
I guess the short shins just remind me too much of this hilarious implementation:http://i.cubeupload.com/lvd3fp.pngWhich I wonder why they bothered at all. Here's the skeleton. It goes in character assets. It's not even lenghtened much, not for a lack of trying. What's the plan for the gaps? I don't have too much longer to procrastinate. bilotheretard
Mh,Mass Effect 3.Turians have legs like that too.Nah turians were more sensible, it basically looks like humans on tippy toes. For the rest of them they went with increasingly bizzare ways to make them look less human without wanting to actually put in work,- like concave shins. Can you say ouch? Drohung
Danidragon, the tail armor is coming nicely. Lots of modeling I'm doing for it, but it's coming nicely. I just can't get my NIFscope to let me do the armor right is the only problem with a few other armors I've been working on...I'm making a few armors for this mod (many of them combining armor pieces from in-game into non-vanilla structures). If I can't get my NIFscope working, then I think Derok offered to do it for me.Also, the skinning that I used on my Argonian's body is not affected by the facial warpaint color, but I hope to see if I can make that work. Oh, and Derok... erm... I imported the Argonian hands into Blender to do some modeling... and the claws don't exist. I don't know why they don't import with the hands... Furrywolf
I like the ''tippity-toe'' idea you where on there. I think of the Argonian mod now, like that. But The argonian digits look very slick, muscular and lizard/beast like :3 They be perfect ^^
And I always used Grunt, Morin and Tali as my team-mates in ME2-ME3 cause their digits where so cute *^^*
Edited April 30, 2013 by Furrywolf
Danidragon
Mh.Argonians never got much love in Oblivion.Even now the last argonian mod was uploaded at least one and a half year ago . I'd really play Oblivion again.Never really got to finish that game, only finished the main quest once . I wish Skyrim had that much content. The Shivering Isles was awesome too, never finished that either. A corrupt save always stopped my gameplay, even after 2 attempts.
Drohung
Ha! I finished my first UBR compatible armor set! I will try to upload pics soon. Sadly, it's only compatible with the lightest weight body as of now. I need to add weight slider compatibility.
