Zahkrii Do Dovahkiin - Hidden DLC Dragonborn Sword

I have another idea for the enchantment that should be fairly straightforward and balanced.

"Deals 'X' damage, ignoring armor, based on the number of dragon souls the wielder has available."

Make X equal to 2.5~3 times the player's unspent dragon souls, put it on something as good as an elven blade, and you have yourself a perfectly balanced artifact, no matter your level or your playstyle.

I have always loved the idea of enchantments that scale with use, like the ones on the Runic War Axe and the Bow of the Stag Prince. I don't like the way that the BSP gave defensive boosts, though, and I hate the time limit on the RWA. This would be a perfect solution.

Unfortunately, I don't know CK that well. If someone could make the enchantment as a mod and post it on the Nexus, or maybe even put it on one of the existing swords made for this mod, I would be very grateful. All I ask, if anybody does make this work, is some credit for enchantment concept.

Pwetty pwease? :D

@Balisan the spells Dragon Storm and Conjure Ancients have a similar script affect to what your describing, unfortunately, they were made to summon more Spectral Dragons and Ancient Dragonborn.

@Karkron, I just checked and it appears that the aspect armor overwrites itself depending on the most recently used shout. Also, the effects of both shouts can and will occur simultaneously. This technically means that when health is below 50%, you would add another dragonborn to your army, which I don't really see as a problem.

As for the enchantment, I currently have just a simple damage boost. Im still working on giving the weapon the bloodskal effect, although the game is being very stubborn about this (it really only wants this done with the bloodskal blade specifically). I think i can get it though. As for the scaled damage boost based on dragonsouls, I think I can see that getting overpowering very quickly, even with the proper ratio. Also it would be quite easy for players mid storyline to obtain an extremely OP weapon. But if you guys want it, I'll do it.

Kind of strange that Skyrim only wants the Bloodskal Blade to have that ench, but I think you'll eventually get it working.

As for the enchantment scaling effects of the weapon, it all depends on how many dragonsouls are required (you can make it require like 50 souls or something) and the amount of extra damage dealt by the weapon upon reaching a certain number of souls. It also doesn't have to "eternally" scale with how many souls you have, you can put a cap on the effect if your really concern about balance.

Disclaimer: Here is a an example of how the effect could scale

enchantment on weapon deals x points of damage and an additional x damage per x amount of unspent Dragon Souls, max damage of x upon reaching x amount of souls.

I actually like that, but maybe only when the shout is active?

Well how is the sword going to work if the shout isn't used? ;)

Sorry, i may have not made myself perfectly clear. I can make it so that the scaled damage applies at all times, rather than only when the shout is active. Then, when the shout is active, the bloodskal effect applies. Or I can have both apply with the shout. I just wasn't sure which you were implying should be implemented.

Ah, I see.

Well , since the shout's purpose is to "unlock" the sword's power, I'd think it be best if the scaled damage only applies after you use the shout, instead of having it as a separate ability.
