mbruno
Ok, I couldn't find Shadowmere, so I used the console command player.moveto 00032BF5 to move to Shadowmere's location, however it took me to Chestnut Handy Stables in the Imperial City Talos district and Shadowmere is nowhere to be seen. I'm confused.
dlcooper
Hi, Not sure why it took you there. Usually is Shadowmere goes missing, you'll find him back at the Fort (can't remember the name), Northeast of Cheyindel. The same fort where you first got him. DougFor future reference, the Fort is called, "Fort Farragut". Shadowmere should be near the secret entrance (in the base of a tree).
Dantrag_tc
Shadowmere can be somewhat problematic horse in the game. Even though she can't die, if she is in a combat and takes damage, (sometimes even if she isn't harmed), she will start walking instead of staying still. If she walks or if she goes unconcious while you leave to another place, that is when she will usually disappear. To stop her from walking, you need to ride her a bit and then get unmount her. (You might have to do this trick a few times before she stops). If she's still, you can travel anywhere or go raid some dungeons without a fear of her taking off. Granted, she will always reappear at Fort Farragut, but it can get troublesome to travel there very time she disappears so doing the trick above can save time. MalachiDelacot
Minor suggestion: there's a mod called "Dude, where's my horse".....
Germandeathkittiez
Is there a console command to make Shadowmere still go unconscious instead of dying after you finish the Dark Brotherhood?
TotallyNotToastyFresh
What do you mean? When you finish the DBHood quests, she is still an essential character....
kkaze
My Shadowmere is stuck in the Imperial City Market District. Does anyone know how to get it out?
