calamity8899
I wonder if CDProjekt are aware of this disappointement concerning Judy and the topic of romances in general. I'm sure they can make all the love intersets bi in a possible patch, but the main question is : will they do it?I honestly don't know if there is a strong backlash concernig Judy only for Female V (even though the number of views of this topic may be a sign). That may sound silly for some people, but I'm less eager to play the game without a Male V Judy romance. Of course Cyberpunk 2077 is not a "dating simulator" but, I don't know how to put it, being able to romance Judy would "immerse" me more in the story.Let's hope CDProjekt listen the feedbacks about it and read these forums.I know I know, but one can dream...This post is utterly tragic, I love that CDPR have made a popular character a Lesbian which is great for many many reasons, but one of the biggest is just seeing all of the typical entitled players who are so used to being catered to with stuff like this absolutely seething about it. Imagine hoping for an official patch from the company that actually made the game to change part of a character's background/identity just because your typical male player didn't get their own way for once and is complaining about "muh immersion" because they can't even imagine playing as a female character. There is no "backlash", most people are chill with it, it's just the usual suspects who are the loudest. Your average well adjusted person is fine with people having their own romance preferences whether that be in real life or in a video game. I'd be surprised if mods could change romance due to there not being any recorded dialogue for the other gender player character for those situations, but if it is possible with mods then go mad, but it's some serious entitlement expecting the company to patch such a thing in, it'd be a step back if they caved to the screeching of the manchildren that's for sure, I hope they don't and fortunately I can't see them ever doing that because there's absolutely no need or reason to change anything about that. So you aren't happy that there is a Lesbian character because that gives lesbain or bi women players a chance to have a romance. Nope. You are happy because it pisses people off. That says a lot more about you than the entitled players that you are moaning about. As far as romance in the game goes. I think the bigger issue is that it is a HUGE step back from previous games in the genre and CD Projekt in the past as there is ZERO choice for the player if they are straight with one option. I mean Baldur's Gate 2 had several options for the MC and that game came out 20 years ago. Witcher had multiple romance options, not counting the one night stands, or the whores, and in Cyberpunk it seems that there is one female joytoy, one male joytoy, one one night stand, and one romance at most for any playthrough. We used to actually allow in these type of RPGs for NPCs to be able to be romancable no matter the gender. But people whined back then that the representation wasn't good enough, even though it let every player play into their character how they wanted and made everyone actually happy. But nope, don't like Panam, if you're straight you're screwed. Don't like Judy if you are a female V, same thing. Cyberpunk is a hypersexualized by its nature, having more options is nothing but good. Especially when the themes of transhumanism make gender nearly irrelevant in these types of scifi. As for the mod, I figure early versions will let you romance her but still have the female dialog options. Still think that if nothing else CD Projekt would be wise to expand the romance options in the game in general though.

Take a hike. There's somehow always at least one person like you in these forums spouting off about "muh entitled straight people". You're far from a well adjusted person considering you're on a modding forum complaining about entitled straight males requesting a mod for a game. Get real. We want it, we'll mod it. modVP
This mod could be done in a few forms. 1. (simplest)Make the characters accept any version of V. 2. (a little bit of work)Make the characters recognize what gender V is, and then roll out scripts that cut certain lines w/ animations. 3. (the extra mile)Find volunteer voice actors to fill in the dialogue. Modify the animations to correct the lip sync and positioning in romance scenes so that there's no odd hover hands or ghost hands. 4. (above and beyond)Doing deep fakes for the voices. [Toxic woke rant]Member Since 12 December 2020 - 01:01 PM (registered an account for the sole purpose of being toxic) This thread may have started with Judy but the most progressive option would be to open up all of the characters. In your tirade about allocishet males and virtues about lesbian women, you seemed to miss out that maybe there are lesbians who would like to be with Panam? Instead of spelling out every pairing we can all agree that just opening it up is the most progressive option that allows everybody to win and nobody loses over it. This would be very easy for CDPR to do. The only obstacles are getting the voice actors back on board for gendered romance dialogue, The biggest challenge is that the sexuality of these characters might reflect in non romance scenes and dialogue (I haven't played that far to know how deep it goes). CDPR could still easily work around this by presenting an option at the start of the game to have all characters remain in their original orientation or to unlock them all which leaves the players to accept that they aren't getting the most authentic versions of the characters. I might not have the technical ability to do the mods right now but I do know how to code and I could learn to code mods if I had the time and ambition to learn more programming languages, the implementations for this mod looks very doable if the game is as easy to mod as something like Skyrim for example. The CDPR developers would have greater access to do this then modders would. It's disappointing that an RPG game full of options fell short on options in romance where those who aren't privileged with being bi or pan are left with only one option. tgtong44
I join the request. Not only did the developers put only 4 "real" romances in the game, they also divided them into hetero/homo categories. As a result, as a male V, I can only romance with 1 girl. What a joke.+

ELITE118
That was infuriates me more is the fact this is yet ANOTHER aspect of how the RPG elements in the game are lacking. At this point I would have rather just had a 25 hour linear story so I can stop getting mad on how the most trusted company lied to us about this game being a RPG. CyberpunkMods
+3 Once we get the Redkit for this one this is a mod I would love to work on. Shouldn't be that tough if immersion isn't what you're looking for. Besides given a little time I'm sure swapping the animations for the S*x scenes wouldn't be that bad since they already exist on game from other encounters. However, dialogue specific options like with Judy, could be immersion breaking. I'm more interested in getting Panam to swap with females not just males. @CDProjektRed, needs to ensure proper mod support this time around to make up for the games short comings.
