Moment of Shame: Breaking Mjoll's heart

There is one way to break their bond forever: make her a Blade, and BAM, that *censored* is gone!

Granted, not sure she's marriageable after that, but hey! I know it works to get rid of him!

Good post, well entertained by your torment.

I actually had Aerin follow her to Sky Haven Temple and follow her around Blades HQ like a puppy. Mjoll was a blade but her fanboy would just not go away. Maybe Delphin will put him to work as the blades cleaning boy.

That mod would be a file of the month. :P

Seriously, Aerin is suited to nothing else.

Aeryn vanished from my game. When I married Mjoll, and took her to Lakeview, He was staring at her while she slept ... creepy.

So I had her follow me again, and Aeryn walked out the door ... presumably to walk back to Riften.

POOF!, he vanished. Can't find him anywhere. Musta got himself et by bears. Mjoll never mentions him, as though her AI is aware that he's no longer in the game. Sometimes, you just have to let the wild animals do your dirty work for you.

I try to find compatible companions for my house carls as stewards. I was thinking of Mjoll for Gregor but since I didn't want Aerin I decided Gregor was gay and set him up with Belrand. They seem to get along ok. I had also considered Mjoll for my custom house with the children because I thought she would be a good role model but chose not for the same reason. I've got Roggi watching the kids at my custom house while I'm gone because he seemed kindly, but can't decide on a female follower to leave there with him. Mjoll has this Aerin problem, Annekke is married. Don't want vampires, werewolves, cannibals or drug dealers left with them. So poor Roggi is lonely but the children keep him busy and the home is a pleasant peaceful place. He doesn't get drunk hardly at all any more.

In a fit of whimsy, unwitnessed, I sniped Aerin with a weak bow, a steel arrow, and a powerful frenzy poison. Had to hit him twice. In consequence, his very own townspeople ganged up and put him out of his living condition.

Mjoll had less baggage afterward, but my character felt terrible.

I reloaded a save, and gave up “ditching” Mjoll’s loyal companion. And then, one day, when visiting Riften with a different follower, a dragon attacked, no lie! We were all too slow, and Aerin became the sole casualty.

I did not reload my save.

That was many playthroughs ago. Today I know I can use the CK to make any kind of Aerin.

And, BTW, Skyrim may have its faults, but I’ve always found it gives you what you seek. Collect only X, and a much higher percentage of X’s appear in chests and locations than might otherwise be expected.
